JC Labs Pty Ltd

Before you commission a website

Clear scope. Fewer surprises.

Choose a starting point, agree what your website needs and know what happens next.

Are the demonstrations real businesses?

No. They are fictional design and functionality demonstrations created by JC Labs. Images and stories are illustrative. Enquiries, bookings and purchases inside the fictional businesses are simulated.

What does the starting package include?

Your branding and approved content, the full relevant demo page structure, responsive layouts, a working enquiry form to your nominated email, two agreed revision rounds and the source files. The written proposal defines the exact deliverables.

Can the design be changed?

Yes. Colours, typography, page content, services and imagery can be adapted to your business. Larger layout changes and additional functionality are assessed in the scope.

Who writes the content?

You can supply it, or choose help generating complete written content. You approve factual business details and final copy before publication.

Are a logo and photographs included?

Logo design and licensed imagery are optional additions. You may supply assets you have permission to use. Any purchased asset costs and licences are agreed first.

Does a booking or checkout demo include a live integration?

No. Demonstrations show a customer journey. Real booking systems, payment processing, ecommerce and editable content are separately scoped and tested integrations.

How do the two revision rounds work?

Each round is a consolidated set of feedback against the agreed scope. New features or a substantially different direction are discussed as a scope change before work continues.

What will it cost and how long will it take?

We assess the chosen design, functionality, content, integrations and review requirements before quoting. No universal price or turnaround is promised.

When do I pay?

The proposed direct-project structure is 50% upfront and 50% on completion. The written agreement confirms milestones, payment terms and acceptance criteria.

What do I need to provide?

Your business details, services, service areas, contact destination, branding and available content; your preferred design and features; and someone authorised to approve the work. Do not send passwords through the enquiry form.

Who owns the website files?

You receive the source files. Ownership terms, third-party licences, domain and hosting account ownership and access are recorded in the agreement.

Do you provide training, hosting and maintenance?

Yes, as optional scoped additions. Training and a handover guide can be added. Domain and hosting setup and monthly care can include agreed updates, backups, monitoring and small content edits.

What happens before launch?

You review the finished website against the agreed scope. We complete the applicable build, link, responsive, accessibility, form and security checks, prepare recovery, then obtain launch approval.
