The courtyard connection
A light-filled addition with a more generous connection to the garden.
Inner Melbourne concept · Fictional brief, not a completed job
THE IDEA
The brief.
Imagine a home with a disconnected living room and underused courtyard. The illustrative brief asks for more daylight, a calmer palette and an easier flow outdoors.
The approach.
The concept uses generous glazing, a sheltered timber soffit and a restrained brick palette to connect new and existing spaces.
